Aquaponics grows fish and plants together. You feed the fish. Bacteria in the system turn fish waste into nutrients the plants can use. The water stays in the loop instead of being thrown out and replaced with a bag of fertilizer.
A system at home does not replace the grocery store. It is a way to grow some of what your own kitchen eats, if you will look after the fish.
The Patio Aquaponic Kit Plan is a document for a small media-pipe layout with tilapia. It is not an install and it is not a parts kit. If daily fish care is not real, start with the Kratky Greens Station Plan. That one has no fish.
